3-2-11: awards at the white house, maple syrup flowing, google feeds (and you eat): March 2 seems like an improvement over March 1

Seems link a good idea to fix this intersection.

The pilot who crashed in the Hudson, body found.

Interesting site writes up Hawthorne Valley Farm.

The Chatham Film club has new board of directors.

Someone is selling a vintage postcard from Philmont. And some more from Tagkhangic.

Embezzlement story spread a bit. Really, how much more of this is there that is not convenient to investigate?

Hey, the Daily News blog picked up the story about the slur in Taghkanic.

The Hudson mosque graffiti story goes to the Washington Post, just like the anti-semitic slur story. I guess anything with a racial or religious edge spreads. You know, the ancient Greeks and Romans had nothing we would call racism and there were no religious wars in the ancient world, not really, yet injustice and oppression were the watch words of the era. They were unfair slave societies. You can have discrimination and injustice (even slavery) without a racial or religious component. In America and in the modern (even Medieval) world, the ethic and religious intolerance are kind of the prototype for injustice but it need not be the case, for the record.

A book says that the work "OK" is not from "Old Kinderhook".

Some farm is for sale for 1.4 million in Kinderhook.

Someone's video from Stockport of the CSX train:
